At approximately 2 o'clock in the afternoon, an unidentified body was discovered floating in the tidal waters near Ganga Dahi Ghat in Kolkata. The body became ensnared in the chains of a boat adjacent to Princep Ghat. Described as a young man in a black T-shirt and wearing a wristwatch, the victim's identity remains unknown. Speculations suggest the incident occurred on the day of Holi, indicating a potential link to festive celebrations.
Concerns arise as reports indicate the body remained entangled in the river chains for an extended period without police intervention, despite being notified.
